1. Post Hospital Marker
Inscription.  Built in 1868 under the supervision of Capt. William A. Wainwright using standard army blueprints, he added innovations such as a hospital ward separated from the main building by two breezeways. It is noted for its classical design and Palladian influences. In 1948 it was renamed for William C. Gorgas, who began his yellow fever research at the fort.

Wainwright, el edificio está basado en el diseño estándar del ejército con algunas modificaciones como los dos corredores que separan la sala del hospital del edificio principal. Tiene características de los estilos clásico y palladio. En 1948, fue nombrado en honor de William C. Gorgas, quien empezó sus estudios sobre la fiebre amarilla en el fuerte.
