Regarding Gallatin County Jail. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places solely as a part of the Warsaw Historic District.
"Built on the edge of the original town plat, the jailer lived on the first floor and prisoners were housed on the second. It was used until 1944, when the current jail on West Main Street was built. It now houses the county's 911 dispatch center."
