1. Historic Pioneer Road Marker

Inscription. Pioneer Road connected the historical community of Slaterville east to west. This winding country road was constructed by early pioneers. The road was lined with 19th century and early 20th century homes, along with thriving farms. The Allred, Holley, Knight, Powell, Slater, Smout, Wardell, and Wheeler families were some of the earliest Slaterville pioneer settlers.
