Thomas Whitby Home. . Built by Thomas B. Whitby in the 1870's. Was located on about 200 North and 350 South. Thomas and his wife, Emma Sarah Freestone raised eleven children in this home. Later when the family could afford a more modern home, this log home, as with others in Alpine, was converted to a grainary. In 1994 Calvin and Merlin Whitby, grandsons of Thomas, donated the home to Historic Moyle Park. With the help of the Alpine Historical Preservation Commission and Beck and Beck Construction it was moved to Historic Moyle Park and restored.
