Llega a Juana Díaz a los 4 años. A los 11 se aficiono por el beisbol ingresando a la liga atletica policiaca. Formo parte de varios equipos llegando al plano de beisbol aficionado insular. Conecto el cuadrangular de salvacion y el primero que pelotero alguno conectaba en recien inaugurado parque juanadino Angel Ramon Mora en juego contra los Indigenas.

English translation:
He grew up in Juana Díaz since he was 4. At 11, he grew fond of baseball. Entering the Police Athletic League, he was part of several teams, reaching the Insular Amateur Baseball Allstars. He was able to make a home run that called the game. It was the first home run in Juana Díaz's then-new Angel Ramón Mora Park in a game against the (Mayagüez) Natives.
