Nuestro escudo recoge toda nuestra idiosincracia de pueblo altamente religioso y criollo. Nuestros principios, cultura, ambiente y todo aquello que dio margen y vida a nuestro acervo de puertorriquenidad.
Cada simbolo es un canto a nuestro pasado, presente y futuro. Es una oracion que cada patillense reclama para si y eleva a Dios en los reclamos de Su gracia.
Es por eso que al dotor a Patillas de su escudo se laboro inteligentemente y con cuidado supremo para no dejar inadvertido algun detalle que enmarcara parte de nuestra historia.

Our shield includes all our quirks as a highly religious and Creole people. Our principles, culture, environment and everything that gave meaning to our heritage of Puerto Rican identity.
