Homenaje al Cortador Caña
[Tribute to the Cane Cutter]
Sonó el pito.... ¡A picar caña!
The whistle blew.... Let's chop sugar cane! It is time to reap the fruit of hard-working Yabucoans who shed sweat in the furrows of our cane fields. We nostalgically remember the years of splendor of our sugar industry, the long-awaited harvest.
Leaving us the great legacy of being called "The town of sugar, guarapo and melao."
Erected 2007 by Municipio de Yabucoa, Hon. Angel "Papo" García de Jesús, Alcalde.
