Desde sus años como mayordomo en las salinas de Cabo Rojo hasta que se unió a la familia del Servicio Federal de Pesca y Vida Silvestre el 27 de mayo de 1981. Mariano Rodriguez Flores se ha ganado la admiración y el respeto de todos sus compañeros de trabajo.

Se ha destacado por su capacidad creativa y diestra mano de obra, como la evidencia esta estructura construida bajo su hábil dirección durante el año 2002, en unión a un excelente grupo de trabajadores.

Reconocemos la extraordinaria labor realizada por Mariano durante sus años trabajando para el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre de Cabo Rojo, hacia la preservación conservación y el mejoramiento de la vida silvestre, nombrando esta torre de observación en su honor.

From his years as a foreman in the Cabo Rojo salt flats until he joined the family of the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service on May 27, 1981, Mariano Rodriguez Flores has earned the admiration and respect of all his co-workers. .

He has stood out for his creative capacity and skillful workmanship, as evidenced by this structure built under his skillful direction during the year 2002, together with an excellent group of workers.

We recognize the extraordinary work carried out by Mariano during his years working for the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge, towards the preservation, conservation and enhancement of wildlife, naming this observation tower in his honor.
