Durante gran parte del siglo 19 el liderato puertorriqueño lucho con tenacidad hacia la prosecucion de mayores libertades politicas frente a España.

Los anhelos del Pueblo Puertorriqueño se cristalizaron en el año 1897 al otorgarsele la carta autonomica.

Tres distinguidos sangermeños formaron parte del gabinete autonomico: Francisco Mariano Quiñones, Manuel F. Rossy y Jose Severo Quinones. A ellos se les honra en esta galeria.

For much of the 19th century the Puerto Rican leadership fought tenaciously toward the pursuit of greater political freedoms from Spain.

The desires of the Puerto Rican people crystallized in 1897 when they were granted the charter of autonomy.

Three distinguished San Germeños were part of the autonomous cabinet: Francisco Mariano Quiñones, Manuel F. Rossy and Jose Severo Quinones. They are honored in this gallery.
