1.5 Millones de Niños El régimen nazi justificó la matanza de niños basado en su ideología de pureza y supremacía racial. Dado que los niños no cualifacaban para el trabajo forzado, los nazis los seleccionaban para las primeras deportaciones a las cámaras de gas junto a los ancianos, enfermos y personas con impedimentos o como las primeras víctimas llevadas a las fosas para ser ejecutados. Muchos de ellos fueron además, utilizados físcamente en experimentos médicos atroces, con resultados mortales en la mayoría de los casos. En total, 1.5 millones de niños murieron durante el Holocosto.

1.5 Million Children Children were especially vulnerable during the Holocaust. The Nazis advocated killing children of "unwanted" or "dangerous" groups in accordance with their ideological views of racial supremacy. The children too young to be deployed to forced labor, were selected by the Nazis along with the elderly, ill, and disabled, as the first victims of the gas chambers or led to mass graves to be shot. Nazi physicians and medical researchers used many children in concentration camps for brutal medical experiments that often resulted in their deaths. In total, 1.5 million children perished during the Holocaust.
