Tolerancia

of prejudice, indifference, and silence. The dark legacy of the Shoah must be a lesson for all future generations of the evils of hatred and intolerance.

It is the moral responsibility of all human beings to cherish the sanctity of life, to respect and tolerate the opinions, practices, and behavior of others, and to treat humankind with dignity. One must learn from this tragedy that silence and indifference in the face of evil, lead to complicity in its crimes. Each individual must defend truth and justice, dignity, freedom, and peace.

May this memorial be not only an "… act of remembrance, but a remembrance to act." All citizens of the world have the obligation to ensure that a Holocaust never occurs again.
