1. Charles Hosmer Morse Marker
Inscription. Charles Hosmer Morse was born in 1833 in St. Jonsbury Center, Vermont. From 1883 unitl his death in 1921, he considered Winter Park his second home. His vision and generosity are responsible for much of its beauty today. The park which surrounds you is one of his benefactions. Charles Hosmer Morse was one of the pioneers who gave this community the character which has brought so much happiness to so many.
