Prof. Dr. Arie Biemond 1902 - 1973

Hij was hoogleraar neurologie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en hoofd van de neurologische kliniek van het Wilhelmina Gasthuis. In 1926 werd hij assistent van Prof. Brouwer, eerst in het Binnengasthuis en later in het Wilhelmina Gasthuis. Op 31 december 1970 nam hij het besluit de kliniek te verlaten als gevolg van zijn slechte gezondheid.

He was Professor of Neurology at the University of Amsterdam and head of the neurological clinic at the Wilhelmina Hospital. In 1926 he became assistant to Prof. Brouwer, first in the Binnengasthuis Hospital and later in the Wilhelmina Hospital. On December 31, 1970, he made the decision to leave the clinic due to ill health.
