Sardegna House
This French Creole house, originally built between 1830-1840, rested along the east bank of the Mississippi River in Convent. It was moved May 19, 1999 onto this property donated by Kaiser Aluminum.
The house was donated to St. James Parish for its preservation and the enjoyment of those who visit our community by the heirs of the Sardegna family. Dedicated on July 7, 2001
