1. Pecan Marker
Inscription. A large wild and planted tree up to 120 feet in height that produces pecan nuts; it grows in moist, loamy soils and in mixed hardwood forests. The wood is used for furniture, flooring, veneer, and charcoal. The word pecan is of Algonquian Indian origin.
