1. Symphytum officinale Marker
Inscription. The leaves and roots are used externally to treat psoriasis, eczema, skin irritations, muscular pain, sprains and fractured bones. In the past it was used internally to treat ulcers, colitis, bronchitis and coughs due to its relaxing effect on the mucous membranes. It is best used as a poultice, oil, cream or ointment on the skin.
