Sheriff William Vancamp Killed Aug. 20, 1923 in Springfield Township while trying to arrest 2 male Bank Robbers.

State Trooper Robert O. Lietzan Killed March 30, 1969 in the Metamora area, by a barricaded male subject firing a rifle from a wooded area.
