1. Lenoir's Creek Devon Cattle Farm Marker

Inscription. This 1807 farm is the oldest continually operated farm in Haywood County. Ancestors of today's Devon cattle arrived in this country in the mid-1620s. Descendants have been at this farm since 1849. Original owners, Colonel Thomas Lenoir and Captain Thomas Isaac Lenoir, were prominent in NC history.
