1. Pigeon Gap Watering Hole Marker

Inscription. This spring provided water for people and horses that traveled over Waynesville Mountain between Bethel and Waynesville in the 1800s and early 1900s. Families would have picnics and reunions here. The Community Club of Waynesville, in 1924, constructed the wall and commemorative marker.
