1. Domus Augustana Marker
Inscription.   Sala ellittica
Nella sala il pavimento è in marmo africano. Il nome antico, marmor lucullaeum, è legato a quello del console Lucio Licino Lucullo, il quale lo introdusse per primo a Roma, dalla prima metà del i sec. a.C. Le cave sono situate presso l'antica teos (territorio di izmir, Turchia).

Peristilio
Il pavimento del peristilio è in lastre di marmo pavonazzetto. In antico veniva indicato dalla provenienza: marmor phrygium o synnadicum. Usato sin dalla prima epoca imperiale per statuaria e rivestimenti architettonici era fra i marmi più costosi. Le cave sono situate presso l'antica synnada (provincia di afyon, Turchia).

Elliptical Room
In the hall the floor is made of African marble slabs. The ancient name, Marmor Lucullaeum, is linked to that of the Consul Lucius Licinius Lucullus, who was the first to introduce it in Rome, from the first half of the 1st century B.C. The quarries are located near the ancient Teos (Izmir Territory, Turkey).
