Rione X Campitelli in Roma in Città metropolitana di Roma Capitale, Latium, Rome, Italy — Central Italy (Tyrrhenian Coast)
Tempietto / Small Temple
Between the temples of Victoria and Magna Mater are the remains of a third smaller temple of the 1st century BC, reconstructed with a brick podium in the 2nd century AD. Some scholars have identified this as the Auguratorium, the place where augurs observed the flight of birds to draw omens from them. Others believe that this was the shrine of Victoria Virgo, which we know was built in 193 BC next to the temple of Victoria.
Erected by Parco Archeologico del Colosseo.
