Inscription. The “Forgotten War” is what the Korean War of 1950 through 1953 has been deemed, for many, it was a war that does not bring anything to memory. But for those who fought in it, and the family members who had loved one who fought and died, it has many vivid memories that only the horrors of war can bring. A total of 5,720,000 Americans served in this war. It was a war where 21 countries joined together to defend the people of South Korea from Annihilation and the tyranny of the Soviet backed army of communist North Korea and Red China.
