Inscription.
This building is most noteworthy for its alteration to the local arcade style in 1929 by its new owner, E. M. Bonnett. The alteration was initiated by a street widening which forced the lower story along Orange Street to be set back. Arched were built at the new curb line to support the second floor. Mr. Bonnett operated a downtown bakery from 1914 until 1922 and then turned his primary attention to the growing of oranges. He died in 1930.
