Inscription.  In cima ad una seconda rampa, posta sull'asse dell'ingresso originario agli Orti, si estende un terrazzamento panoramico abbellito da un monumentale prospetto architettonico. Al centro della parete che riveste il monte, decorata da graffiti, si apre un'alta abside che ospitava una fontana costituita da una sequenza verticale di vasche da cui l'acqua precipitava tramite cascatelle. Ai lati della fontana salgono due rampe di scale dirette al soprastante giardino. Sculture antiche in marmi colorati decoravano questo prospetto, tra cui statue di Iside nelle nicchie in cima alle scale e statue di Persiani inginocchiati che sorreggevano vasi di fiori.

English:
At the top of a second ramp, on the same axis as the original entrance to the Garden, lies a panoramic terrace adorned with a monumental architectural façade. At the centre of the wall placed against the hillside, decorated with graffiti, is a tall recess which hosted a fountain consisting of a vertical sequence of basins from which water flowed in cascades.
