Kokomo residents, black and white, young and old marched more than 2000 strong from Courthouse Square to Carver Community Center Tuesday night in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 9, 1968. The sign carried by NAACP members. The words displayed were taken from Dr. King's now famous civil rights speech made in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1963. (Tribune Photo)
