2845th USAF Hospital, Griffis AFB, Rome, NY

After completing Basic Training at Sampson AFB, NY, Bill was assigned to Fort Sam Houston, TX where he completed training as a Medical Technician. He served tours as a medical technician at Air Force hospitals in Warner Robins, GA and Ogden, UT prior to his reassignment to the 2845th where he was later released from active duty on 14 August 1958 and assigned as a reservist to AFRes Hq, 14th Air Force, Robins Air Force Base, GA until his final discharge.
