This marker placed in celebration of the courage and vision of our argonaut Beach family ancestors
Arriving in California in 1849 they settled in Freeport south of Sacramento among the first to engage in large scale farming in 1850
Once buried at the Pioneer New Helvetia Cemetery they and all others buried there were removed in 1955-1956
