Las excavaciones arqueológicas realizadas en su entorno muestran una industria lítica que indica presencia humana desde hace unos 75,000 años. Se observa parte de un lienzo de muralla que se asemeja, por la disposición de las piedras en forma de espina de pez.

The English text mentions 'brickwork' but the other translations mention that it is stonework that is in a herringbone pattern. Unfortunately, a thorough search of the area did not find the mentioned stonework (August 2023).
