Mila Urteko Etxartea
Artxidiakonoaren egoitza zaharraren lekuan, mahaia artxidiakonoaren etxea zegoen, janariaren kalonje arduraduna. Etxe "berriak" egin ziren eta, tartean, patio irekia utzi zen. Leku paregabea da ondoko hauek ikusteko: katedraleko dorreak, elizaren hegoaldeko kanpoalde gotikoak, etxe zahar batek galarazten badu ere denak

ikustea; bihitegiko multzo erromanikoa, XII. mendeko portadarekin eta bi dorre erromanikoaurrekoak eta sukalde eta jantokiko kanpoaldeak, gotikoak, XIV. mendekoak. Historiaren ikuspegi osoa, beraz, bata bestearen atzetik mila urtetan zehar egin ziren eraikinak aurrean direla. Txoko barru eta gorde honek harritu eta harrapatu egiten du ikuslea.

English
The Courtyard of a Thousand Years
The old Archdeaconry, place where the house of the Archdeacon of table, canon charge of food supply was, gave way to some "modern" apartments which created a wide open space. This space provides views of, in addition to the cathedral towers, of the Gothic exterior of the south side (partly hidden by the back of a large old rambling house), the Romanesque complex of the larder with its XIIth century façade and the two Pre-Romanesque towers, and the outside of the kitchen and the refectory (XIVth century Gothic). The whole is a historical vision, with a sequence of construction over perhaps one thousand years, one which surprises and holds the visitor's attention as an unexpected and hidden space.
