1. The Fuquay Motor Company Marker
Inscription. The Fuquay Motor Company occupied this building from 1915-1945. Dan Spence operated the car dealership from 1915 until he sold it to the Powell Brothers in 1939. For thirty years this building served as a showroom for Ford's newest car models. In 1945 the car company was relocated to the corner of Vance and Main Street.

Western Auto occupied this location for many years. In 2008 it became home to Stick Boy Bread Company.
