Cpl. J. Levi Roush
6th Pa. Reserves Co. D. Born McKee, Pa. Age 25. Civil War. Died 1906. He was one of six volunteers who charged upon a log house near the position of Devil's Den where a squad of Confederate sharpshooters were sheltered and compelled their surrender July 2, 1863. Battle of Gettysburg.

Cpl. Harry Raymond Harr
U.S. Army. Resident of East Freedom, Pa. Age 24. World War II. Killed in Action June 5, 1945. Cpl. Harr smothered a Japanese hand grenade with his body and saved the lives of four of his fellow soldiers. Thus enabling the four remaining soldiers to repair their machine gun and hold their position. Battle of Mindanao Island.
