Dedicated to the memory of the precious children who lost their lives at this railroad crossing, in one of the nation's worst school bus/train disasters on the morning of Sept. 10, 1959. Of the 27 children on the bus, seven were killed and 11 sustained moderate to severe injuries.

Little did we know that this beautiful Thursday morning would end this way. No farewell words were spoken … no time to say goodbye. Our hearts are forever broken. Seven little angels went to Heaven that day.
