Al acto de descubrir esta lápida, el dia 3 de octubre de 1908, asistieron las Parroquias del Salvador, S. Gil, S. Miguel y Santa Maria Magdalena, unidas para celebrar el primer Centenario de los Sitios.
On March 20, 1897, the Royal Aragonese Economic Society of Friends of the Country agreed to erect this monument by public subscription in substitution of the ancient and venerable Cruz del Coso, destroyed by the French artillery.
It was solemnly inaugurated on October 23, 1904
The act of unveiling this tablet on October 3, 1908, was attended by the Parishes of Salvador, S. Gil, S. Miguel and Santa María Magdalena, united to celebrate the first Centenary of the Sieges.
