Regarding Minnie Miñoso. The Cuban-born Minnie Miñoso, sometimes known as "Mr. White Sox," was the first black player in White Sox history and a key member of the "Go-Go White Sox" of the 1950s. A long-time White Sox coach, Miñoso also made notable playing appearances in 1976 and 1980 as a pinch-hitter, becoming the second player in history to play in five different decades, and the third to get a hit at the age of 50 or older.
