Nederlands componiste en pianiste. Ze was de dochter van Henri Bosmans, solocellist bij het Concertgebouworkest en pianiste Sara Benedicts. Haar moeder gaf haar pianoles en vanaf haar zeventiende trad ze geregeld op in het Amsterdams Concertgebouw.

(English translation):
Dutch composer and pianist. She was the daughter of Henri Bosmans, solo cellist at the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and pianist Sara Benedicts. Her mother gave her piano lessons and from the age of seventeen she performed regularly at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.

The marker is visible here on the corner of the building. Given the height of the hedge and the nearby tree, viewing this marker clearly may be difficult at times.

She wrote the passionate Doodenmars ('March of the Dead') to a text by Clara Eggink, and a more hopeful song, "Lead, kindly light" (1945), to a poem by Cardinal John Henry Newman, first performed on 3 November 1945 by the soprano Jo Vincent and the Concertgebouw Orchestra conducted by Adrian Boult, 6 months after the liberation of The Netherlands.
