Rob was born with Cerebral Palsy but never let it interfere with doing what he loved. Supported by Venta Preparatory School and LiveWorkPlay, he went on to work at the Canada Agricultural Museum and later IBM, where he instantly worked his way into his colleagues' hearts. With his great sense of humour, special smile and love of his dogs, he will never be forgotten.

On 18 September, he was sitting in his favourite seat, upstairs at the front of the bus where he could watch the world. Rob was living the life he wanted - a good life. He has now moved past any disability, he has front row seats at every sports event and he no longer needs us to watch over him. The world lost an inspiration and a truly lovely human being who touched all of us in so many ways.

Rob will remain in our hearts forever.
