1. Mess Hall Marker

Inscription. Look for the concrete slab that was at the kitchen entrance. Large tubs of water for cleaning dishes and utensils were set on this slab. The mess hall, where the boys would eat, was connected to the kitchen. On the south side of the mess hall was the smaller officers' mess hall.

Erected 2021 by Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
