La Mirada
In 1890 Andrew McNally purchased 2360 acres from the Stearns Ranchos for his La Mirada Colony of "country gentleman estates", and his Windermere Ranch. His plans were not fulfilled, instead grew the McNally olive oil empire.
Nearby, to the east, are the sites of the railroad station and the olive oil plant. The ranch buildings are preserved in Neff Park, located two blocks north.
Erected 1969 by City of La Mirada Historical Committee.
