James Till PhD and Ernest McCulloch MD are globally recognized as the Fathers of Stem Cell Science for their research in the 1960s at the Ontario Cancer Institute and Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto. They received Canada's Gairdner Award (1961), were inducted into the Canada Medical Hall of Fame (2004), and won the Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research (2005).

Sculpted by Ruth Abernethy, 2016. Donated by Dr. Allen Eaves, President and CEO of STEMCELL Technologies Inc.
