Apollo Command Module Mockup
NASA landed astronauts on the Moon and returned them safely to Earth during the Apollo Program. Moon walkers made the final leg of the journey in the Lunar Module while the Command Module Pilot continued to orbit the Moon in the Command and Service Module.
