1. Minster Post Office Marker
Inscription. In 1839 Minster's first postmaster was appointed and the home of the postmaster served as the post office. Since then, it has moved several times, occupying the East part of the former Luckman Shoe Store and the former Kuhlman building. The new Post Office opened in 1968 was hailed as, "the newest and certainly most impressive building on 4th Street". Minster village routes were motorized with two jeeps in 1975 to help facilitate the delivery of the ever increasing amounts of mail.
