1. Battle of Iuka Marker
Inscription. Bloody clash of Sept. 19, 1862 resulted from attempt of Gen. Wm. Rosecrans, U.S.A., to expel Gen. Sterling Price, C.S.A., from N.E. Mississippi. In 2 hours one-third of men engaged were casualties.
