The Visigothic Basilica
Inscription.
Balice cristians de tres naus, construida al segle VI en record del martiri del bisbe Fructuós i dels seus diaques, Auguri i Eulogi. L'edifici tenia una sala annexa emprada com a baptisteri. Segons la tradició, el lloc assenyalaria l'indret de l'execució. La basilica va estar en us fins l’inici del segle VIII.
Se'n conserven la fonamentació, part dels paviments, les bases per a les columnes que defineixen les tres naus I l'arc triomfal que emmarcava l'absis.

La basilica visigótica
Basílica cristiana de tres naves construido en el siglo VI en recuerdo del martirio del obispo Fructuoso y de sus diáconos, Augurio y Eulogio. El edificio tenía una sala anexa usada como baptisterio. Segun la tradición, su ubicación indicaba el lugar de la ejecución. La basílica estuvo en uso hasta inicios del siglo VIII.
Se conservan sus cimientos, parte de los pavimentos, los bases para las columnas que definían las tres naves y el arco triunfal que enmarcaba el ábside.

The Visigothic Basilica
A Christian basilica with three naves built in the 6th century to commemorate the martyrdom of Bishop Fructuosus and his deacons, Augurius and Eulogius. The church had an annex that was used as a baptistery. According to tradition, it indicated the site of the execution. The basilica was in use until the 8th century.
The foundations, part of the paving, the bases of the columns that defined the three naves and the triumphal arches that framed the apse have been preserved.

Basilique chrétienne à trois nefs construite au VIe siècle pour commémorer le martyre de l’évêque Fructueux et de ses diacres, Augurius et Eulogius. L’église avait une annexe qui servait de baptistère. Selon la tradition, il indiquait le lieu de l’exécution. La basilique a été utilisée jusqu’au 8ème siècle.
Les fondations, une partie du pavage, les bases des colonnes qui délimitaient les trois nefs et les arcs de triomphe qui encadraient l’abside ont été conservés.
