More about this marker. The building, at time of posting, was the Friary Mission, just north of the Capuchin Friary and St. Mary of the Angels Church. The plaque was unveiled by Lord Mayor Críona Ní Dhálaigh on 12th July, 2016.
 
Regarding Four Courts Garrison / Garastún na gCiethre Cúirteanna. Although the marker itself provides limited historical information, it marks the location of an important part of the 1916 Easter Rising, and is part of a series of markers in Dublin denoting the event that set the stage for Irish independence.
