Excerpt (in translation): Founded in 1887, we constituted ourselves as a structuring element in the service provided to the population of the municipality of Ponte de Lima. Over time, our corporation has gained fame among citizens, through the activity we carry out daily and the visibility we achieve in the context of emergencies, relief and the support we provide.(Submitted on February 12, 2024.)
We consider ourselves privileged, not only because we are located in the oldest town in Portugal, but also because we have a professional and demanding Fire Department, with a spirit of dedication, harmony and sacrifice for the benefit of others. In addition to this, our corporation also has professionals with numerous training and specializations.
