Inscription.

These enclosed gardens were laid out in 1864 by the Earl of Carlisle. They cover an area of 9 hectares, including the lake and provide an opportunity to see a fine example of Victorian horticulture.

Ba é an tlarla Carlisle a leag na gaírdíní seo amach in 1864. Clúdaíonn siad réimse 9 heachtar, an loch san áireamh, agus tá seans anseo sampla breá de ghairneóireacht Victeoiriach a fheiceáil.
