1972: Little Buffalo State Park dedicated.
1982: Perry County Council of the Arts formed.
1995: First McDonald's opened in Howe Township.
2010: First county traffic light installed in Marysville.
2020: COVID-19.

In 2020, Perry County retains its unique character as the world grows smaller and spins at an ever-faster rate. The Bicentennial Plaza memorializes special events, people, places and experiences in Perry County history. It cannot tell the complete story, but it does invite you into the world of memories, the exploration of your roots, and your dreams for the future.
