1972: Little Buffalo State Park dedicated.
1982: Perry County Council of the Arts formed.
1995: First McDonald's opened in Howe Township.
2010: First county traffic light installed in Marysville.

In 2020, Perry County retains its unique character as the world grows smaller and spins at an ever-faster rate. The Bicentennial Plaza memorializes special events, people, places and experiences in Perry County history.
