Bei den Bauarbeiten der IHK zum neuen Haus der Wirtschaft werden 2015 die ältesten Siedlungsspuren Nürnbergs gefunden: Keramikscherben, die ungefähr aus dem Jahı 850 stammen rund 200 Jahre vor der ersten urkundlichen Erwähnung. Die Geschichte der Stadt muss daraufhin neu geschrieben werden.
Sensational archaeological discovery
In the course of the construction work on the new chamber house, the oldest traces of Nuremberg's settlement were found in 2015: Pottery shards that date from about 850 AD - roughly 200 years before the first recorded mention. As a result, the history of the city had to be rewritten.
