Newark in New Castle County, Delaware — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Preston's Playground
For All Children
Preston's mom Deb, was having coffee with her friend, Nic DeCaire and sharing the story about the playground in Virginia Beach and how she wished there was more playgrounds that were all inclusive! Nic's response.... "Let's build an all inclusive playground, right here in Newark!"
With the support of the City of Newark, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (D.N.R.E.C) many individuals, corporations, and foundations three years later Preston's playground went from a conversation over coffee to a dream for every child.. to play together!
We hope you enjoy your visit!
