Excerpt: One of the points of pride of the historic Evergreen Cemetery in White Store is the presence within its borders of marked burials for at least 17 Revolutionary soldiers.(Submitted on April 10, 2024.)

To honor their service a roadside historic marker was dedicated and installed as part of the William G. Pomeroy Foundation and Empire State Society Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Patriot Burials Program.
